If one thing intersects with another, then we say they have a connection at a particular point. Intersections videos aim to create a connection between academic research and real world contexts. This bridging space is critical given there are so many exciting research findings out there that can help communities thrive. Intersections brings together both research and real world generated knowledge using accessible tools and language. 

I am also sharing professional development knowledge with my Scholars Squad. Beyond the functional aspects of graduate school and academia, Scholars Squad videos address the politics of the field to get at the unspoken cues and "rules" of this complex culture. These talks are geared toward underrepresented groups in academia and come from a position of empowerment.
